Planning a Safari can be daunting

My wife and I have not travelled overseas in over 10 years and I was intimidated by all the options out there for booking a safari. I provided my budget and Sara did an amazing job putting together some packages for me to look at and choose from. We communicated back and forth several times and eventually settled on a package. She confirmed everything and we were off and running. I booked our flights to and from the country but once we arrived there was a driver from the airport and everything from the moment we touched down in South Africa until we were wheels up was perfectly curated. This was a bucket list trip for my wife but now we will be trying to return as soon as we can!

Very Responsive and Patient w/ Our Needs!

Anja has been great in making our travel reservations! She is very quick and responsive (at all hours, I'm not sure when she sleeps)! We went back and forth on 39 emails. Yes, 39 emails for a couple of weeks. She made several different itineraries in ranging prices, types of accommodations, and locations. She was patient through the whole process and provided so much information. We finally decided on our perfect trip!

Outstanding Experience! (Cape Town, Sabi Sands, Vic Falls)

After attempting to book this trip myself (a couple coming from the US), I gave up and reached out to Sara from Safari.com. I told Sara what I was thinking and by the next day she had created several wonderful itineraries! Based on her suggestions, we personalized the itineraries and within 7 days I was booked and all set!! Sara was available at all times (before, during, and after the trip). We are currently heading home and we are so happy with all the bookings Sara created for us! Everything went flawlessly. Her 3rd parties for tours and transfers were perfect (always early, professional, knowledgeable, and kind). The hotel acknowledged our anniversary thanks to Sara. We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred hotel in Cape Town, then off to Dulini Moya in Sabi Sands, and finally Victoria Falls Island Treehouse in Zimbabwe. I highly recommend all of them. Tell Sara what you envision your experience to be and your budget and she will make it happen!! Her knowledge was so helpful in assisting us to choose the perfect itinerary. It was comforting that she kept in touch while we were traveling throughout Africa. I feel so lucky to have had Sara arrange this trip and will certainly request her expertise again in the future!! Our customer service rep was prompt and polite in responding to our query. She automatically included transportation to and from the safari lodge, which saved us so much time and effort and worry! Other safari companies did not provide this service. From a few questions asked she chose 3 fantastic options for us, exactly what we were looking for. She was also very patient in answering our questions about each lodge and was knowledgeable in her responses. I would highly recommend this company and am excited to go on the safari that she helped us choose!

As elderly, world travelers our best adventure ever was last year’s safari trip to Sabi Sabi & Cape Town South Africa planned by Dolan Sequera. Great experience working with Dolan.
Immediate responses from my many, many questions. He arranged all lodging, inter airlines, and ground transportation! It was such a perfect experience that we are returning with our family this year and of course, Dolan has handled all our plans as well as our daughter’s.
We couldn’t be happier with this company. Dolan is the best and we highly recommend him!

I can't say enough good things about Safari.com and in particular Dolan Sequera. South Africa was daunting to plan for and felt I needed some help. I did a lot of research and chose Safari.com and was matched with Dolan. I had a general idea of the trip I wanted to plan for my husband, myself, and our two children (19, 21). Dolan was incredible. He listened to what I wanted and make excellent recommendations. Then he helped book it all. Our trip was 16 days and we visited Cape Town, an Elephant sanctuary, and Safari. And everything went incredibly smooth - no hiccups. He even welcomed me when I landed in South Africa and checked in along our trip. A couple of times I needed to change transfer times and he responded immediately. I felt confident he would help us if any issues arose. It was a trip of a lifetime for my whole family and I am thankful for the help from Dolan and his team at Safari.com.

Luxury support without the premium price

Seems pointless to book things direct when Safari.com can do it all for you at the same cost

I wasn’t actually planning on leaving a review until after our trip which has been scheduled for March 2025. I wasn’t even planning to use a travel company to assist as we are experienced travellers who are used to booking our own arrangements. The cost of going direct with suppliers and going through Safari.com was exactly the same - with the latter you also have outstanding service and advice which makes it pointless to do it yourself.
But I felt compelled to leave a shout out for Leigh-Ann Croeser who has been extremely helpful in organising our itinerary for South Africa. Her response to queries was always prompt and professional. When we ultimately wish to travel to East Africa, I know who I will be contacting.
