In a setting such as the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, where striking red sand dunes are offset by sparse, hardy vegetation and resilient desert wildlife, Twee Rivieren camp possesses the character and stature of a desert camp to be remembered. This camp is the administrative headquarters of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park as a whole, and the largest rest camp within its borders.
Camp sites each have a braai area and shared water tap. Communal ablution, laundry tubs and ironing facilities (no irons provided). There are camp sites with one electrical power point per site and sites without power points. Note, internal roads are not suitable for sedan vehicles.
Sunrise and sunset drives are available at Twee Rivieren, enquiries need to be made at reception. A minimum of 2 guests. Drives are not always available due to availability of staff members, the schedule for when drives are going out is available at reception.
Twee Rivieren is the administrative headquarters of the park as well as being the largest of the camps.
It offers a swimming pool, restaurant that serves breakfast and a-la-carte dinners, a shop which stocks basic commodities, ATM and fuel station. There is cell phone reception at this camp.
