What our guests have said about this accommodation

STEVE RENECLE
Tankwa is an amazing place - unlike anywhere else. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a happy one, Including helping to change a flat tire. Don't expect luxury, although it's certainly very comfortable and the pool was a blessing. Really enjoyed our stay.
Annette van de wall
Perfect accommodation. Clean and well presented. Have recommended it to my friends.
DavidDR MOORE
A wonderful place to visit. Open spaces, friendly staff. Special area.
Jacques Viviers
What a unbelievable experience. We live in SA and don't known what beautiful places we have got. Accommodation was very nice and the people so friendly and helpful. We loved the place.
Geoff Broadley
We had a great 2 days in the Tankwa Park, when we arrived at the reception it was to hear that we were the only people booked in the Langkloof Campsite. On asking the receptionist if there were people in the Perdekloof campsite she informed us that there were and when we asked if we could relocate to the Perdekloof campsite within a couple of minutes she had arranged this and we were on our way.The stay was great we did most of the drives and the 4 x 4 routes to the lookout points which were magnificent. The only grip we have, is that we did the Watervlei 4 x 4 route and this was fine as far as the Escarpment look out point and then after that the route just disappears. This route has not been maintained, and therefore we had to turn around and could not complete the course which made our traveling day at least 3 hours short. It would be great if this route could be maintained.

Tankwa Breathtakingly beautiful. Great position! Just the right level of simplicity. What worked.*The bed*The Crisp clean linen*The Shower and bathroom generally*The cleanliness+The plunge pool*The furniture generally*Reception*RoadsWhat didn't work;LACK OF MAINTAINANCE!!!!!!!!PLEASE DONT LET SOMETHING SO WELL DESIGNED AND BUILT, BECOME DERELICT.(Front Door lock almost falling off, Cracked glass window in Bedroom, Small window in bedroom stay falling off, Louvres at the top of the building falling out, plaster falling off walls esp. next to bathroom,One of the front windows cracking at the corner mitre and fixed with a pc. of metal.Doors and windows no longer fit in frames) How about appointing a maintainance person whose sole job would be to fix the small but rapidly growing list of to do's!Thank you for a great stay.Louise and Terry

Pascal is a travel angel! Highly recommend him.
We started planning for our safari trip contacting a bunch of different travel advisors but Pascal's service truly stood out to us as the best in the industry. He took care of planning everything from start to finish for our very last minute honeymoon trip (literally a month out and during the busiest safari season). He is extremely meticulous and very responsive to our 100 questions. He shared first hand experiences at each of the different lodges, personal pictures and gave us solid recommendations within our budget. He hopped on a call with us initially to explain all the differences to us first time safari goers, and continued to be very flexible and patient with us as we couldn't decide! We are very excited for our trip and cannot thank Pascal enough for being our first interaction on our upcoming trip.

Wonderful experience with Safari.com
Wonderful experience with Safari.com. My Safari Agent, Dolan, has 20+ years of experience in booking a memorable safari. He guided me in picking the right lodging and safari within my budget. He offered several options and answered all my questions. His response time was fast, regardless of the international time difference, and we were able to make quick decisions. Highly recommend.
