The Granite Suites are nestled in a private concession of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve and is named after the impressive use of granite materials in the lodge's decor and general construction. A relaxing surrounding of subtle colors and aged, sturdy accommodation, with modern and comfortable interiors, Granite Suites is the ideal destination for a family or small group looking for an intimate African safari getaway.
The three Granite Suites are positioned amongst the Granite rocks alongside the Sand River and boast four-poster king-size beds draped with mosquito netting, an ensuite bathroom with double vanities, an outdoor bathtub and outdoor shower; underfloor heating, a lounge area, writing desk, air conditioning, bathrobes, in-room safes, hairdryer, minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, and a viewing deck with a heated swimming pool, sala, and loungers.
The camp facilities include a lounge, dining area, bar, gym, internet access, kids club, laundry service, spa, curio shop, and a swimming pool.
The Big Five along with impala, common waterbuck, grey duiker, kudu, bushbuck, nyala, giraffe, and warthog all roam freely. The ever-present Sand River plays home to Cape Clawless Otter and hippo groups, and guests can spot the white-tailed mongoose, African civet and large-spotted genet on a night time safari.
303 bird species call this area home, including white-crested helmetshrike, lilac-breasted roller, brown-headed parrot, emerald-spotted dove and scarlet-chested sunbird, woodland kingfisher, red-chested cuckoo, Wahlberg’s eagle and Crested Francolin. Saddle-billed stork, grey heron, and pied kingfisher gather around the park's waterholes.

Outstanding Experience! (Cape Town, Sabi Sands, Vic Falls)
After attempting to book this trip myself (a couple coming from the US), I gave up and reached out to Sara from Safari.com. I told Sara what I was thinking and by the next day she had created several wonderful itineraries! Based on her suggestions, we personalized the itineraries and within 7 days I was booked and all set!! Sara was available at all times (before, during, and after the trip). We are currently heading home and we are so happy with all the bookings Sara created for us! Everything went flawlessly. Her 3rd parties for tours and transfers were perfect (always early, professional, knowledgeable, and kind). The hotel acknowledged our anniversary thanks to Sara. We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred hotel in Cape Town, then off to Dulini Moya in Sabi Sands, and finally Victoria Falls Island Treehouse in Zimbabwe. I highly recommend all of them. Tell Sara what you envision your experience to be and your budget and she will make it happen!! Her knowledge was so helpful in assisting us to choose the perfect itinerary. It was comforting that she kept in touch while we were traveling throughout Africa. I feel so lucky to have had Sara arrange this trip and will certainly request her expertise again in the future!! Sara is the best
Sara is the best! Believe me we had tons of questions about our upcoming safari and all were dealt with quickly and with detail and graciousness by Sara. Considering the 7 hr time difference, response time was as if she lived next door! Maybe she doesn't sleep. Sara's knowledge is also outstanding. We never received an "I don't know but will get back to you" response. We are so looking forward to our trip especially knowing that Sara is always available to help us out!

We are exprienced world travellers
We are exprienced world travellers, but when it came to booking a safari, after a bit of research we realized we were out of our league with the logistics.
