Tarangire Treetops Lodge is nestled below a magnificent thousand-year-old baobab tree on the border of the Tarangire National Park in Tanzania. Each of the spacious wooden and thatched Treetop Rooms is elevated off the ground and features an open-fronted room design with special gauze used as windows. These rooms are well-appointed with wood-crafted furnishings and an expansive deck overlooking the African bush. Each room also includes an opulent en-suite bathroom with double showers, bathrobes, and slippers, as well as in-room safes, an internal phone system, and a laundry service.
The lodge facilities include a main lodge that overlooks a waterhole, a dining area, a comfortable lounge, an outdoor boma where dinners are served, a lodge boutique, and a swimming pool.
During your stay at Tarangire Treetops, you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of activities, including day game drives, night game drives, walking safaris, and Masai Village tours.
Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest park in Tanzania and is home to abundant wildlife, particularly during the dry season when animals move into the park from Manyara and head towards the Tarangire River, which becomes the only water source. The park is famous for its large population of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing lions. It is also a bird lover's paradise, with over 550 species recorded in the park.
