Situated in the western corner of the world-renowned Chobe National Park; the Savuti region is one of Botswana's most exceptional safari destinations, offering unrivaled game viewing and up-close encounters with numerous predators inhabiting the reserve. Savute Safari Lodge is a luxury lodge situated on the banks of the Savute River channel in Chobe National Park, Botswana.
Savute Safari Lodge is an exclusive and tranquil retreat in the African bush, complete with its own resident herd of elephants and spectacular views of the park and the Savute Channel.
During the summer months of November and December, and again from February to April, Savute Safari Lodge offers a prime viewing spot for Africa's second-largest zebra migration. Although this spectacle is governed by the arrival of the rains, it's a sight to behold as the zebras move from the rivers in the north to the southwestern region of the park in search of greener grazing grounds and water. The migration attracts the attention of many predators, making the zebra migration an event not to be missed!
Savute Safari Lodge boasts eleven well-appointed thatch-and-timber chalets and one family room.
Each elevated chalet is decorated in neutral earthy tones and complemented with wooden and woven furniture. Each features a combined bedroom and lounge area with twin beds that can be converted into a double, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, luxury bathroom amenities, an overhead fan, an in-room safe, tea and coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer, an umbrella, an air horn, and a private deck that overlooks the waterhole.
The family suite has all the amenities of the chalets but comprises two double bedrooms.
The lodge facilities include a reception area, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, a campfire area, a swimming pool, a bar, a curio shop, and a shaded viewing deck that overlooks the Savuti Channel and the lodge's waterhole, which is frequently visited by wildlife.
The lodge activities include morning and afternoon game drives in the Savute Marsh region and visits to Gubatsa Hills, where you can view ancient San rock paintings in the small, hilly outcrop.
The Savute region is a wildlife sanctuary most famous for its predators, zebras, and large elephant herds. With 450 species of birds recorded in the region, birdwatching is phenomenal.
Savute Safari Lodge is ideal for solo explorers, couples, and families looking for a rewarding safari experience.

Thank you Lana Goodwin and Safari.com
Lana has been super helpful in addressing all our needs in timely manner. Due to her efforts, be believe we are going to have a great trip. Safari.com needs to get better exchange rate as well as lower the credit card payment fees. We were charged in excess of 3% plus bit higher exchange rate.

Great Booking experience
I was reccommended to safari.com by a fellow traveller . From the moment I reached out to safari.com , the experience has exceeded by expectations. We worked with Lana for the booking process and I can tell you that she was very patient with us answering numerous questions. She also came up with multiple itineraries for us to choose from. She also hopped on a call with us pretty late in her time zone. Really appreciate that. While our travel dates are not until later this year, I am hoping that safari.com continues to provide the best experience during our travel.

Out of Afica
Lana organised our trip and every aspect of it was perfect. We went to Kambaku River Sands. You can see my review on trip advisor. The experience was faultless and I do not think we could have had a better experience anywhere in Africa. Utterly amazing and what was key was Lana’s ability to match what we wanted to the exactly right lodge/safari. Thank you.
