Royal Chundu is situated upstream from the majestic Victoria Falls on the banks of the Zambezi River and hugs the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Encompasses two lodges, River Lodge and Island Lodge, both with kaleidoscopic views of the Zambezi River.
Children of all ages are permitted at River Lodge.
Children aged 12 years and over are considered adults and will therefore require their own suite at the applicable rates. Child minding services are available at an additional cost.
Ten exclusive River Lodge suites, disguised among the riverine vegetation, radiate seclusion and tranquility. The charm and secrecy of the four spacious Island Lodge villas are accentuated by its location resting on the Katombora river-island, sheltered by gushing rapids.
River Lodge scatters ten suites along the riverfront with wooden decks ensuring intimate and serene views accompanied by uninterrupted privacy. With only four spacious villas on the island, Royal Chundu’s Island Lodge illuminates tranquility, exclusivity, and privacy. The well-appointed suites, splashed with cobalt blue and earthy palettes, open up onto private decks overlooking the river rapids. Refresh in the infinity pool and in the evenings relax in a riverfront bathtub - the perfect romantic getaway. Victoria Falls offers a variety of activities but Royal Chundu offers sundowner river cruises, birding safaris, fishing, canoeing, a Victoria Falls tour, and a village tour.

Sabi Sands Game Reserve reservations made easy
Made safari reservations with Pascal John. He was very helpful as we had a specific time frame that corresponded with the rest of our Africa trip. Outstanding Experience! (Cape Town, Sabi Sands, Vic Falls)
After attempting to book this trip myself (a couple coming from the US), I gave up and reached out to Sara from Safari.com. I told Sara what I was thinking and by the next day she had created several wonderful itineraries! Based on her suggestions, we personalized the itineraries and within 7 days I was booked and all set!! Sara was available at all times (before, during, and after the trip). We are currently heading home and we are so happy with all the bookings Sara created for us! Everything went flawlessly. Her 3rd parties for tours and transfers were perfect (always early, professional, knowledgeable, and kind). The hotel acknowledged our anniversary thanks to Sara. We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred hotel in Cape Town, then off to Dulini Moya in Sabi Sands, and finally Victoria Falls Island Treehouse in Zimbabwe. I highly recommend all of them. Tell Sara what you envision your experience to be and your budget and she will make it happen!! Her knowledge was so helpful in assisting us to choose the perfect itinerary. It was comforting that she kept in touch while we were traveling throughout Africa. I feel so lucky to have had Sara arrange this trip and will certainly request her expertise again in the future!!
