With your closest neighbour over an hour’s drive away, you’d be excused for feeling as though you have the eastern Serengeti all to yourself.
Namiri Plains’ upgraded design maximises views of the seasonal riverbed in front of camp. This secluded region of the eastern Serengeti is the ultimate big cat territory. A few months a year the Great Migration herds fill the plains close to camp on their way to begin calving in the south.
Ten spacious, stylish tented suites (including one family tent) overlook the Serengeti plains. Since our 2019 refurb, tents are bigger and have sliding doors running the width of each room and opening on to an expanded viewing deck. The walls are made from calcrete, a sedimentary rock created from the ashes of the Ngorongoro volcanoes, that helps to regulate the temperature. Interiors are all decorated in natural materials and tones. Each bathroom has a view over the plains and a standalone resin tub on your private deck for an al fresco bubble bath with a chilled glass of fizz.
All food is made in camp, including fresh bread, biscuits and muffins. Breakfast is a continental buffet or full English, and lunch is a light buffet with salad or fresh vegetables. Later, a three-course dinner is served in the dining tent or under the stars.

7 day Vic Falls/ Kruger adventure!!!
I can’t say enough about Kim and how much she did for me and my daughter to plan her 7 day Safari to Victoria Falls and Kruger Park. For myself to be in the USA and my daughter doing a medical internship in Cape Town, South Africa and the time difference, Kim was amazing in every way. The time difference in itself was a challenge but Kim was so helpful and was very quick to respond to me and my daughter at crazy times to make her trip perfect! Kims communication and most importantly making sure my daughter was Safe traveling solo was superb! Everything was planned and she wanted for nothing. Her flights and transfers were perfect along with her accommodations! She loved all of her safaris and the people were all amazing to her! Thank you so much for making a Madison’s Safari memorable in every way !

Outstanding Experience! (Cape Town, Sabi Sands, Vic Falls)
After attempting to book this trip myself (a couple coming from the US), I gave up and reached out to Sara from Safari.com. I told Sara what I was thinking and by the next day she had created several wonderful itineraries! Based on her suggestions, we personalized the itineraries and within 7 days I was booked and all set!! Sara was available at all times (before, during, and after the trip). We are currently heading home and we are so happy with all the bookings Sara created for us! Everything went flawlessly. Her 3rd parties for tours and transfers were perfect (always early, professional, knowledgeable, and kind). The hotel acknowledged our anniversary thanks to Sara. We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred hotel in Cape Town, then off to Dulini Moya in Sabi Sands, and finally Victoria Falls Island Treehouse in Zimbabwe. I highly recommend all of them. Tell Sara what you envision your experience to be and your budget and she will make it happen!! Her knowledge was so helpful in assisting us to choose the perfect itinerary. It was comforting that she kept in touch while we were traveling throughout Africa. I feel so lucky to have had Sara arrange this trip and will certainly request her expertise again in the future!!
