Located in the heart of Nairobi National Park, it provides a seamless transition into Kenya’s natural beauty. Within half an hour of your arrival, you can settle into an authentic tented safari experience.
Child Policy
2 children in own tent pay 75% of per person sharing rates each, 3rd child in same tent pays 75% of per person sharing rate.
12 years: 1 child sharing with 1 adult pays 75% of adult sharing rate & adult pays per adult sharing rate.
1 child sharing with 2 adults, pays above child rates but adults pay double tent rates.
Children below 3 years stay free.
Maximum 1 child sharing with 2 adults in each tent due to size.
As the first accommodation permitted in Nairobi National Park, the camp is a unique blend of untamed landscapes and urban proximity, with plains on one side and the city skyline on the other. The park is a wildlife haven, renowned for near-guaranteed sightings of rhinos, making it a must visit destination.
Accommodation
The camp offers nine spacious and inviting guest tents, each designed to accommodate two people. Locally sourced materials and vibrant textiles create an exotic yet cozy atmosphere. Comfortable beds are equipped with warm blankets and hot water bottles to keep you snug during the night.
Dining
All meals are homemade and served on a set menu. Special dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice. Drinks, including ice-cold beer, wine, and gin and tonics, are available at the fully stocked bar in the central mess tent.
Meals at Nairobi Tented Camp are carefully curated to complement the safari experience.
Breakfast: A hearty and warming start to the day
Lunch: Light and refreshing, served under the shade of olive trees
Dinner: Gourmet options like soufflés and beef fillet, enjoyed under the stars
Game Drives
Begin your safari adventure with an early morning wake up call accompanied by freshly brewed coffee or tea. Early game drives provide the perfect opportunity to witness the sunrise and spot a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, buffalo, zebra, impala, and eland. The park is home to both black and white rhinos, lions, and, with some luck, the elusive leopard. After the drive, return to camp for freshly baked bread, coffee, and a hearty breakfast.

Denise from Safari.com was extremely helpful. She responded promptly, provided good advice on safari lodgings options and worked up a couple of itinerary options to suit our budget.
