Londolozi Founder's Camp is an elegant riverside camp that prides itself on offering luxury accommodation, exceptional service, and sumptuous cuisine.
Londolozi Founder's Camp nestles within the Sabi Sands Game Reserve which is regarded to be part of the greater Kruger and teems with wildlife given that the region borders with the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Animals pass casually between the two reserves, making for an unforgettable safari experience.
Founder's Camp boasts 10 Superior Chalets, 2 Superior Inter-Leading Chalets, and 3 Superior Family Chalets.
Five Superior Chalets are set alongside the Sand River and are perfect for couples or two guests sharing. These rooms feature an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioning, minibar, fan, in-room safe, bathrobes, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, private decks, Salas and a plunge pool.
There are two Superior Inter-Leading Chalets that are linked by a skywalk and is ideal for families with young children or teenagers. The amenities are identical to the Superior Chalets.
The Superior Family Chalets are ideal for families of four. These suites are larger and have two en-suite bedrooms and are situated along a river bed which affords families complete privacy.
The camp facilities include a lounge, dining area, bar, gym, internet access, kids club, laundry service, spa, curio shop, and a swimming pool.
Big Five sightings are plentiful at Londolozi, with the park specializing in Leopard sightings! The Big Five along with impala, common waterbuck, grey duiker, kudu, bushbuck, nyala, giraffe, and warthog all roam freely. The ever-present Sand River plays home to Cape Clawless Otter and hippo groups, and guests can spot the white-tailed mongoose, African civet and large-spotted genet on a night time safari.
303 bird species call this area home, including white-crested helmetshrike, lilac-breasted roller, brown-headed parrot, emerald-spotted dove and scarlet-chested sunbird, woodland kingfisher, red-chested cuckoo, Wahlberg’s eagle and Crested Francolin. Saddle-billed stork, grey heron, and pied kingfisher gather around the park's waterholes.
The camp activities include twice daily open-vehicle game drives, guided bush walks, tracking, yoga, astronomy lectures, spa treatments, bird watching, and photographic safaris.

Outstanding Experience! (Cape Town, Sabi Sands, Vic Falls)
After attempting to book this trip myself (a couple coming from the US), I gave up and reached out to Sara from Safari.com. I told Sara what I was thinking and by the next day she had created several wonderful itineraries! Based on her suggestions, we personalized the itineraries and within 7 days I was booked and all set!! Sara was available at all times (before, during, and after the trip). We are currently heading home and we are so happy with all the bookings Sara created for us! Everything went flawlessly. Her 3rd parties for tours and transfers were perfect (always early, professional, knowledgeable, and kind). The hotel acknowledged our anniversary thanks to Sara. We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred hotel in Cape Town, then off to Dulini Moya in Sabi Sands, and finally Victoria Falls Island Treehouse in Zimbabwe. I highly recommend all of them. Tell Sara what you envision your experience to be and your budget and she will make it happen!! Her knowledge was so helpful in assisting us to choose the perfect itinerary. It was comforting that she kept in touch while we were traveling throughout Africa. I feel so lucky to have had Sara arrange this trip and will certainly request her expertise again in the future!! Sara is the best
Sara is the best! Believe me we had tons of questions about our upcoming safari and all were dealt with quickly and with detail and graciousness by Sara. Considering the 7 hr time difference, response time was as if she lived next door! Maybe she doesn't sleep. Sara's knowledge is also outstanding. We never received an "I don't know but will get back to you" response. We are so looking forward to our trip especially knowing that Sara is always available to help us out!
