The camp itself emphasises an ethos of nature protection balanced with attractive services and facilities. Game viewing is fantastic here, and local guides are experienced and ready to impart wisdom.
Camp Shonga's accommodation allows for up to ten guests in five tented units, all fitted with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, room fans, fireplaces, and private viewing decks.
Guests to Camp Shonga can indulge in exciting morning and evening game drives, in open Land Rovers, out into the rough and untamed bush of the Limpopo Province bushveld. These drives are conducted and guided by a team of informative and experienced guides, all of whom are eager to answer questions and make the experience as complete and authentic as possible. The lodge also allows for self driven excursions into the park, and walking safaris. For a more relaxed experience, visits are arranged for bird watching.
Facilities at Camp Shawu include a lounge library, splash pool, and wooden viewing deck.
Kruger National Park plays host to a vast, free roaming array of impressive mammals, including Burchell's zebra, African buffalo, impala, lion, black and white rhino, cheetah, leopard, elephant, and hippopotamus, as well as various reptiles and water creatures, and five hundred and seventeen distinct bird species.
Accommodation, all meals, morning and afternoon game drives, snacks and beverages on game drives.

Very helpful even with ever changing trip!
Anja was very helpful in getting our tour booked for our group. With date changes, time changes, even up to the last minute flight changes, she was on top of things! We will use Safari.com in the future for our Kenya safari trips.

Shann was very responsive, provided multiple options, and was flexible to our changing needs and desires. Our travel selection was somewhat last minute and Shann was able to accommodate with many price points and reserves that were lower malaria risks.

Leigh-Ann was amazing.
Leigh-Ann was amazing. She worked incredibly hard to provide us with our complex safari in Botswana and our travel and accommodation in South Africa. Leigh-Ann was always very helpful and encouraging which must have been very difficult for her as we were within a very tight time schedule to arrange our holiday. She was very thoughtful and even included a list of the things we would need to take.
