Camp Shonga's accommodation caters to up to ten guests across five tented units. Each unit is equipped with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, room fans, fireplaces, and private viewing decks.
Guests at Camp Shonga can enjoy thrilling morning and evening game drives in open Land Rovers, venturing into the untamed wilderness of the Limpopo Province bushveld. These drives are led by a team of knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides, all of whom aim to answer any questions and create a truly immersive and authentic safari experience. The lodge also accommodates self-driven excursions into the park and offers walking safaris for adventurous guests. For a more relaxed option, bird-watching visits can also be arranged.
Facilities at Camp Shonga include a cozy lounge library, a refreshing splash pool, and a wooden viewing deck that takes full advantage of the spectacular surroundings.
Kruger National Park is home to an incredible variety of free-roaming wildlife, including Burchell's zebra, African buffalo, impala, lion, black and white rhino, cheetah, leopard, elephant, and hippopotamus. Additionally, there are various reptiles, aquatic creatures, and an astounding collection of 517 distinct bird species to admire.
Your stay includes accommodation, all meals, morning and afternoon game drives, and snacks and beverages during game drives.
