Wonderful. Thank you so much for the attitude of the Shangaan people.
Beautiful location; the camp facilities are basic. Accommodation is dated but comfortable.
small camp. Bungalow could use some maintenance. Outside lamp did not work, which made outdoor cooking difficult
Excellent, nice clean ablutions and friendly staff will certainly be going again. Loved all the animals that visited the camp site at night.Regards
My wife and my self really enjoyed our visit.
Excellent camp with loads of shade, but not many quick routes surrounding if you want to make a quick drive.
Nice camp with a calm atmosphere. Central to loads of gravel roads to explore.
this is our 3rd time at this camp, be aware there is NO restaurant so you can only BBQ, limited food available. A great experience. Get up early and you will see so many animals.
We could not find anything that was not just as good as it could have been. Just terrific.
Excellent staff, clean facilities, great experience. We had a situation where I had forgotten my wallet at the counter, the wallet was found by camp officials and they made the effort of finding me to return it, much appreciated, great camp.
We found it difficult to locate the switch for the light at the braai as it was not marked on the switchboard. It was only after neighbours told us where to find it, that we could make use of the light. However, this was on the 2nd evening.
We really loved the polished brass of the taps.
Ablution was clean, so was the kitchen section.
Everything great. Lots of animals around the camp.
Everything was to our satisfaction.
I've been going to the Park since the early 1970"s .....This trip was wonderful....Took a first time visitor with me...He loved it.
I had heard that the park had gone down. But I did not find this at all. The ablutions were spotless and the staff very friendly ( I have found them very unfriendly in the past).
I have to compliment the Park and the personnel. everything was in tip top condition - the rooms was clean. the bathrooms in the park was clean everywhere - the staff were helpful and very friendly. well done! keep up the good standard and you will get more tourist to our lovely country!
Very neat, spacious bungalow. fantastic service and friendly staff. Will be back.
So enjoyed our stay at Crocodile Bridge. Chalet was clean and tidy. Nice hot water. Staff very pleasant.
We love it.
Our first time in the park. Always looks small when we drive past but what a surprise. It's big and green and clean. Will definitely stay again. Loved the bungalow. On the banks of the Kruger and so peaceful.
Lovely camp site - very friendly, helpful staff, clean ablutions
This was our first trip to Crocodile bridge caravan park. The ablutions were excellent, clean and well maintained. We were so impressed with how well staff were trained and how friendly they were. We were sad to leave and will most definitely be back! Can highly recommend this camp for peaceful camping and great game viewing.
This was my first time at Croc bridge but it wont be my last. A lovely small, quiet camp.
The camp is small, but a great little camp. Waffles were a nice treat. The night drive was great. The driver (Jacob) was knowledgeable.
Clean, quiet, basic but otherwise enough. Good place to visit in the Park.
Nice and clean. Like the Tent. The camp was very clean
We stayed in the tents and I was surprised how comfortable and convenient it was. You have everything you need and the camp is really clean and looked after. Bathrooms and kitchen always clean and best part is the Kruger gate being right next to the camp. Really enjoyed staying at Crocodile Bridge Restcamp and will be back soon
Great facilities, really enjoyed the stay
The "revamped" bungalow we stayed in has all the necessary amenities; clean and serviced daily. The
ONLY items that are missing are HANGERS/HOOKS, inside the bungalow to hang towels etc. on, which will surely not take much effort or expense to install.
Nice place, clean and well situated close to the N4
Easy access.
Excellent. Clean and neat as a pin.
It was a wonderful break and the facilities at both Skukuza and crocodile bridge were very well equipped for our stay and we would recommend it to anyone going to the Kruger National Park for a break away.
Good day
Thank you we had a lovely stay as we always do in the park.
Kind Regards
LeeAnn Lacoste
Just loved our two nights at Croc Bridge camp. Wonderful accommodation and camp spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and bungalow well appointed.
Grounds at camp were clean. Cottages were clean. Overall was satisfied.
Loved the tent and so did my girlfriend.
Everthing at Crocodile Bridge and the rest of the KNP was terrific. The service was very very good, the camp was exceptionally clean. We had n outstanding game viewing trip, and will be back for more!
We had a wonderful weekend & can't wait for our next trip!!!
The best camp of the lot, saw my first Cheetah kill, a truly amazing experience, lower Kruger as so much to offer, well worth a visit.
We really enjoyed our stay at this camp. The game viewing was excellent. The only negative was hearing domestic dogs barking at night time.
Very nice Camp and friendly staff.
I had a good trip and stayed at the various Camping Sites. The roads both Tar and Dirt are in very poor condition from all my previous vists as thus able to make this comment, if in normal cars be aware of this especially on the Dirt Roads, I eventually stayed off them and missed a lt of viewing. The camps are getting run down, but the people are good and very helpful. I was disappointed that the camp Sites are not controlled and others take up more space that they are allocated or just used up two Sites and people were forced to miss out, others were obviously taking up two Power Points for Electricity and I had to miss out depite alsing them to unplug one Lead, rude and uncaring but them Kruger should police this aspect. There is a lot of noice in the Camps despite being asked to tone it down, Radios - Generator and boozing into the nights. Another Camping Only site had a couple with visitors and the loud attitude was not appreciated, we are there to the wild life and experice the wild night life, not some afrikaans couple shouting screaming their heads off and not caring when several others asked them quiet down.Over all a good trip despite the poor road attitude in blocking bother sides of the road when they see something of interest and others either cannot get a look in or pass them, another real difficulty.wsould I go again YES YES YES, but be aware and make some plans.
Our stay at crocodile bridge was really relaxing and comfortable except one small problem. I understand that we are part of the wild, but the monkeys became threatening and unsafe to be around. I would recommend that you should try not allow them on the campsite. My reason being because my girlfriend was threatened and attacked for no reason which made us uncomfortable. But thank you for allowing us to stay at such a beautiful camp and would definitely consider staying there again.
Stunning experience ! your service was perfect - I am very satisfied with what we received ! Thanks !
The vervet monkeys are an absolute pest and will steal anything left unattended. They even managed to open the wire latch to the cage in which the fridge is located and made off with some food. The bungalows were clean and we had a lovely view of the river. Small maintenance issues need to be taken care of, eg some lights not working and broken mozzie screen.
Wonderful place to stay. Good facilities and quiet campgroud.
It was wonderful as always. We were part of a conference party, and were treated with a bush braai dinner. It was a unforgettable experience!!
A well equipped and managed camp!
We are staying in Lydenburg and go the Krugerpark often. This was our 1st time that we slept over in one of the camps. We enjoyed it so much that we think of doing it that way more often. We really felt rested and relaxed. The room was neat and refreshing. Thank you so much
Nice stay..personnel friendly and helpful..a bit bad that we had to wait until two for the keys every time..
We had a good stay and would return. Although we liked this camp we will most likely stay in a different camp just for a change.
I had a wonderful stay, I even felt teary eyed when I left the park.Thank you for the stay!
Piccolo campo senza ristorante, ma con un negozio molto fornito, e un sacco di avvistamenti
Good day, we went to Kruger to do do some photography, arriving at crocodile bridge, well I did ask for a river front bungalow but got a bush facing one. Luckily reception sorted this out. Arriving at our bungalow, well so basic, but clean at least. Outside area where the kitchen is, ants all over the place and the MONKEYS of course. The kitchen area,s lightning a problem, only one plate of the 2 plate stove, worked. It felt dirty, because it is outside, monkey pee and monkey feces all over. You can nor relax for a moment, even our fire lighters got taken. Please sort this out Kruger. There is so much potential. The shop very well stocked, staff everywhere friendly. Our fan did not work, but air on was fine. For the prize we paid PLUS the R200 for conservation, you do not have a choice here, plus our entrance fee, well if I knew it looked like that, i would have considered other options. The birding and animals made it worthwhile going to the KrugerCome on you guys can sort this out, Thank you
We enjoyed crocodile much more, the safari tents had much more shade and lovely greens to sit down. +++ friendly staff around.
I had booked two safari self catering tents, they were clean and tidy. Unfortunately the plug in the tent # 8 did not work, and the fan in #7 did not oscillate which is not nice as it was really hot at night and there were Mosqitoes . other than that we had a good nights stay
Fantastic sightings of elephant, buffalo, lion, giraffe and white rhino, without countless impala everywhere. The staff at the Crocodile bridge rest camp were friendly and the sundowner game drive a very good experience. The tented camp site was well laid out and clean, but the bedding rather old and could be upgraded.Overall a very good weekend.
We entered the park at Kruger Gate. Thought that Picnic lake was so picturesque. Although it was a very busy time for the park, the park did not feel that crowded. It was only when e.g.a lion was spotted was there a build up of cars. As a South African was very proud of Kruger as it seemed well maintained and no litter. However, I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with the catering at the Lower Sabie camp site where we had lunch the first day. The food was expensive and vile (hamburgers like cardboard). The second day we had lunch at Satara, which was chaotic, the orders were wrong, and food was once again expensive and not good. It is very sad that the Kruger is the place foreign tourists make a point of visiting and we fail so dismally with the catering. Generally food anywhere in South Africa is good so I am very surprised Kruger tolerate such low standards. I would like to add here that the food and cafeteria services at Crocodile Bridge were good. We were greeted by an extremely unfriendly lady at reception who didnt even show us where to find our room. The take away service for food is way below par as muffins and a few sandwiches cannot be described as decent take away meals. There were bats in the room which were only covered up by netting to revent guano from soiling the linen but did not prevent them from making horrendous noise that kept us up throughout the night. The bedspreads were all dirty and stained when we booked in and obviously were not changed.
Wonderful, really fantastic. Thanks.
Sorry to say but the Toilets at the swimming pool at Lower Sabie were absolutely disgusting. The smell was so terrible we could not enjoy the lovely pool, and had to leave after just a quick dip. This is not very pleasant during summer months not being able to swim. I am really very disappointing with this. We camped at Crocodile Bridge and drove all the way to Lower Sabie for a swim, but could not stand the smell around the pool. What are you going to do about this
A good camp, clean and friendly, very friendly people at main reception. Thanks.
We felt the accommodation although clean is in need of a revamp.
We had a wonderful time camping in the Kruger National Park. The only problems we have had were the fact that the stands are not demarcated in the caravan park at both Crocodile Bridge and Berg-en-Dal rest camps. I have got no problems with this if everybody respect each others privacy and personal space but if you have to constantly ask your follow camper to move his "braai" fire away from your caravan or to stop banging with his chair against your caravan then you gets a bit hot under the collar. Other than that we have had a wonderful time and are already planning our next trip to the Kruger.
Was the best camp by far! Overall experience was awesome! Clean, tidy & friendly staff! A must do!
So many staff all cleaning and fixing. Brass polished. Grounds cleaned and watered. Bungalows being modernized. Looking very nice. Great coffee.Bungalow well equipped for self-catering. Very friendly staff.Great game as well.
Kruger park is simply wonderful, and needs to be seen when visiting South Africa. As for the camp, well located to see nice animals (the only lions we spotted were only a few kilometers away from the camp, and lots of rhinos). With morning tours starting at 4 am, there is a good chance to see cats. The bungalows were nice, and air-conditionned, although geckos didn't mind making their way inside on the ceiling. There was a trail of ants in the bathroom, but they were high enough that they would not disturb us when running the shower. One morning, there were warthogs Inside the camp, which was cool at first, and then a bit scary, but nothing bad happened. The camp services are minimal, but well done (nice selection of wild meat to grill at the shop). I can certainly recommend it.
I;ve now done 160 trips to the Kruger Park, and have never seen it o green and lush! Beautiful!! Still remains excellent value for a superb experience....... and lots of game too!
Fantastic holiday love the Kruger National Park - I visit the park 2 or 3 times per year and I can't wait for my next visit.
First time visitor to Crocodile Bridge. Will certainly be back - staff excellent - bungalow clean - animal spotting one of the best. Please do not allow to become as commercialised as most of the othercamps have become. We visit the Park at least three times a year and this has been one of the most enjoyable. All accolades to the management and staff

This was our 2nd stay at Crocodile Bridge. The camp accommodation is basic, but clean, comfortable and excellent value rondavels and the kitchenette well stocked with equipment. There is no restaurant, but a shop which serves take away breakfast, etc., if needed and also sells food and gifts. We booked an early morning and night game drive and saw female lions and cubs lying on the road unperturbed as they had killed a buffalo nearby. On the night drive we saw baby hyenas up close, playing. Saw many animals on our own, including a female leopard and one of her cubs. She had killed an impala and put it in a tree and was at the base of the tree waiting. We were able to see her and her cub clearly, it was wonderful! Our guests were enchanted with the place and loved Kruger Park.

Liked all the animals walking in the camp at Crocodile Bridge. Coffee in the morning near a waterbuck. Is a bit older but some renovation was taking place.
We spent two nights camping at Crocodile Bridge and two at Satara. We were pleasantly surprised to find the staff most welcoming, friendly and informative. The ablution and kitchen facilities were very well maintained, clean and well stocked. The camping area was neat and well kept.
The safari tent was better than what we expected. It is really nice and has everything one needs. The camp itself is beautiful and well looked after. Will do this again and recommend it to everybody.
What a difference to Skukuza. Everything neat and and clean. Friendly and helpful staff.Excellent shop and coffee shop. Lovely breakfast. Ablution blocks clean and neat.
Naas Shingwedzi kamp was Krokodilbrug kamp waarde vir geld! Ek loop met krukke en die parkeer area was so gemerk. Die kamp was ook skoon en netjies. Netso was die ablusieblok.Sal weer hier kam kuier!
Comfortable accommodation with all facilities for self catering.
Staff very helpful and welcoming and accommodation spotless.

We were impressed with Kruger Park, but were disappointed with the situation of our accommodation at Crocodile Bridge. We were accommodated in Bungalow 5 which overlooks the Crocodile River and an area outside the Park. The pump station at the dam ran almost continuously, making a sound we would have preferred not to hear and the security light at the pump station at night interfered with the natural beauty of the park.We entered the park at Malelane, where we were attended to in a most efficient and pleasant manner, however the recepetion area at Crocodile Bridge appeared to be understaffed and it took an inordinate length of time to complete registration formalities. We made use of the picnic facilities at Mlondozi and were impressed with them. We called at Lower Sabie and thought it was beautiful. We were generally very impressed with the park and plan to visit again next year for a longer period (but not to Crocodile Bridge)
After many visits to the Kruger Park this was our first stay at Crocodile Bridge. With it's traditional appearance and being a small camp, it is a gem! The roads in the area are therefore not crowded. The game viewing was very good with abundant viewings of impala, warthog and kudu. The camp is well managed and we had a happy stay. A big thank you to the staff for retrieving an item for us that we left behind!
This camp is 2nd best to Berg-en-Dal in that there are only 20 chalets - BD3 Bungalow is nice and roomy for 2 adults although the toilet area is small but a nice large shower. Very neat and tranquil with a nice view looking over the Crocodile river. The shop is small & therefore variety is limited.
Thanks very much for a clean and well maintained campsite and especially the ablution facilities. The sunset drive was memorable and the driver was very well trained and informative.
More safari tents needed. Love staying in them.
Dear allOur Kruger park Trip was amazing. We enjoyed to be in your wonderful park and to so see all this beautiful animals in their natural environment and not in the Zoo. Especially the night Safari was one of the best experiences we had while our ZA holidays. We loved Krugerpark and we will come back. The only thing I wondered was, that if I asked for an extension they told me all campings are fully booked, but I had not the same impression while we stayed in the camps.

Worst stay ever. Couldn't breathe in the safari tent because of the cigarette smoke and bad smell. The tent was kept closed until 14h00 when we were allowed to go in.
