We have a nice stay at Berg-en-Dal Restcamp except for almost been carried away by ants. They have to do something to that please.But apart from that, very nice..

It was a nice stay, we would recommend this camp to anyone. You will see us again.
We loved every minute of our trip and I would have rated it 5 except for one disappointment, when we arrived at camp reception we were told that we could not book a night drive etc., as we were only 2 people, in order to book you have to have a minimum of 4 people in your party. I asked why and got no response, the rule makes absolutely no sense to me.
Beautiful quiet and neat house......the linen and towels were fresh smelling as was all the kitchen utensils
camp is not visually the most attractive, but the best game was spotted in the surrounding areas. Bungalow had the advantage of an indoor kitchen which aided in the fight against bugs.
Love this campsite... Spacious and so peaceful! Amazing sightings always close by! Will be back soon.

We took overseas visitors to the Kruger Park during the hottest time of the year - crazy, I know. Berg-en-Dal bungalows were an oasis of cool restfulness. They were clean and a joy to visit. We also enjoyed the pool a lot.

Bungalow was very adequate for our purposes, clean bedding and towels, comfortable beds and a very efficient air conditioner. Although on very hot nights a ceiling fan would have been a welcome addition to the furnishings.
We had a party of 8 in the Rhino guest house. The lodge was immaculate and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would be good if the gas bar could be made to work and if WiFi could be made more accessible at the Reception.

As a group of 4 Adults and two children in 2 MP-V's we arrived early on the morning of October 1st at Malelane gate. The gate staff were friendly and professional, with even the assigned SAPS officer showing the kids the big skulls outside and telling them about the animals, while we went through the sign in motions. Our camp for the first night (Bergendal) was close to the gate, so we did a short circuit around the area before going there. The southern tip is teeming with a huge variety of wildlife, and we had seen three of the big five within a few hours. On arrival at Bergendal, the check in process was seamless, the staff were excellent, and the amenities at the camp were brilliant. The guest house we had booked was very clean, modern and comfortable with everything we needed and more.
The following morning we headed North toward Skukuza taking a variety of back roads, to go to watering holes, viewpoints and hides. We reached Skukuza Around 1:pm and by then had seen Lion feeding, Elephant herds, several Rhino, Giraffe, all manner of Buck, and even a Cheetah. Skukuza was great, and we spent the evening having a barbecue. The only disappointment was there was no facility at the restaurant or bar to watch the Springboks play in the Rugby World cup. On previous visits there has always been facilities at the bar or Restaurant? The next day we drove toward Pretoriuskop leaving early, and completed our trip with a spectacular leopard sighting, no more than 10 to 15 meters away from us.
All in another very memorable long weekend in the Kruger, I will keep coming back for more.

Our arrival at the Park was greeted with friendly, efficient staff. We were given a few brochures of the camps and a large map of the park. The camp was well run, clean and staff very helpful. We enjoyed our stay at this camp and were extremely lucky to view lots of game.

We had a wonderful stay at this camp. The ablutions were spotless, staff very friendly and helpful and our campsite on the fence was stunning. my only issue is the Rhino trail which needs attention and repair.

Simple, clean accommodation. Everything you need. Only complaint was the shower, which was a water saving one, understandably, but was rather painful to use! Otherwise the cabin was great, would definitely stay again.

We had a stunning weekend, all the aspects of the game were good, pleasant, helpful staff all round.
We were depressed to see the park so dry, but we really enjoyed ourselves.
Ablutions clean, neat and well maintained. Boiling water was a nice surprise. The Blue Electricity plugs connections was a surprise as I did not read this on the brochure - to be bought. Overall it was very nice as all the facilities are well maintained.

We really enjoyed Berg en dal tent camp. Everything was always so nice and clean. We had one incident with a noisy camper but he was delt with by the Parks Ranger as we complaint so there the service was also very good.
Good Reception and value for money. Stood a long time at the gate entering as the day visitor quota was full and we did not know that we could pass. We saw a lot of animals but no lions/leopards.

Berg n Dal is tucked away in the hills and seems to be in a dry part of the park. The view from the camp is limited but there are plenty Rhino in close proximity. Food and accommodation is good.

My family party of 13 thoroughly enjoyed the short time we spent at Berg-en-Dal. The accommodation was more than adequate and the game viewing wonderful. We enjoyed the well stocked shop and found all the staff efficient and friendly.

It has a close proximity to the jungle where you can spot lions, rhinos, leopards, wild bores, elephants, zebra, giraffes . etc.It was a memorable visit.

It was great as always Kruger is a very special place, please just check the water is constant running out of one of the ablutions at the caravan park but yes we enjoyed it tremendously and would definitely visit again.

One of the best camps in the park. Saw rhinos,buffaloes and a beautiful cheetah on the first day. Saw elephants and lions on the second day.Lots of other animals.

Clean, nice atmosphere, nice to have seats by the dam so that you can watch the animals (we saw elephants, a croc and buffalo when we were there)
